SASSA Takes Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to your community.

SASSA might be rendering companies which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency mentioned it really is alarmed with regards to the significant range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some high range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office committed to service the here area each day. The service place developed for intervention experiences a significant influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it complicated to the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more resources to empower the servicing of all consumers and improve usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
